The 2008-09 budget includes $13.2 billion (General Fund) for judicial and criminal justice programs, an increase of less than 1 percent over 2007-08 expenditures.
Of this funding, $10.3 billion (78 percent) supports the
Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
